Bad Luck

My mother, and lately my brother, have bad luck when they are away from home.  Let me explain...

While planning my wedding, my mother fell and dislocated her shoulder.  The hospital was a waste of time and made it worse.  She still has problems to this day and will forever.  I could make a 14 page blog post about the details but I will spare you :)  Just know that it was HORRIBLE!!!!!

After we were married, she comes to visit and ends up having to go to the Pri-Med because her ear hurts.  She has NEVER had an ear infection before and gets her first one at 44 years old at my house!

Another time she ended up at Pri-Med for something else, but I cannot seem to remember the specifics.  I think she had bronchitis.

A few weeks ago, my brother, dad, and mom all came for the night.  Daddy called in the morning and said he had to take Mama to the Pri-Med because when she got up in the night, the bathroom door in the hotel had ripped off her entire toenail.  So, she had NO toenail and was in excruciating pain!

This past weekend, my mother and brother went on a mini vacation to the mountains.  They were in a remote area and somehow, my brother managed to get cut with a chisel.  They found the local ER and he got stitches!

The moral of this story?  If my mother and/or brother are coming, make sure you know where the local doctor's office and ER are located because there is a large possibility one of them will end up there.
